As a commercials director for over 24 years, the addition of drones as a camera platform has made a welcome and very crucial addition to achieving dynamic, precise and previously unattainable cinematic camera angles.

Whenever we have a call for drone work, Wesley Green has been our go-to pilot for flying the shots. Drone work isn't just about achieving a high-speed dynamic camera language, but more often calls for very measured, precise piloting. Wesley is very skilled across this broad flying spectrum. Many variables make up a shot, and camera work is just one of the elements. Wesley quickly grasps the shot's intention, and I find his flight path repetition to be very accurate, extremely crucial, where you may be adjusting timings or elements within the frame, yet need the camera work to remain consistent.

On the other end of the scale, his advanced piloting skills allow for the development of more irreverent, unrehearsed camera work, especially good for car photography and high-speed sequences where things may be variable, and his perception of what is required can result in some dynamic, unexpected shot design.

Wesley would be a valuable asset to any drone team, and in my experience, is very skilled at flying most craft from a DJI Inspire to the Alexa on the Alta X.
